Prayers and Thank you's!

As many of you know and have read, that past week has been both exciting and disheartening. I want to thank all of you who have been praying for Brian and I, as well as Mickaela, her little girl and this entire situation. I know God is working on something so grand we can not possibly imagine what greatness is to come for all of us involved.

We are lucky to be surrounded by so many wonderful people to support us through this faith testing time. We all find comfort in the lord. Mickaela is doing so well under the circumstances. No 16 year old should ever have to grow up so fast and Brian and I are so proud of her as is her loving family.

Please keep the prayers coming this week as Mickaela makes a huge sacrifice to visit the birth father. We hope that God will shine through her presence, her words and her actions and that the birth father have a change of heart.

Brian and Marta,
As you know the Lord can work in misterious ways, but your prayers will be answered when the time is right. My heart aches for the both of you and the birth parents. It is an extremely trying time for all of you. Larry and I truely understand where you are at this point. Brayden's birth father also held out on sighning the adoption papers, and had no intentions of raising him either. For him it was a way of having "control" over his out of control life.
Time and patience may soften the bio dads heart. I was terrified when we met Braydens bio dad (at his request). Thankfully, he was able to see that we where not monsters and that his son would have the life he was denied as a child...if Ken could have a change of heart, any thing is possible! He needed to have a sense of control, so with heavy hearts we met with him, we reassured him that we would make sure Brayden would be well cared for and that his adoption was a "gift of love" and the information Brayden would recieve about him would be that of love and desire for him to have a better life. I'm optamistic that Bio mom is able to touch his heart with the soft hand of God guilding her! I pray daily for you and them to find a happy ending, that is in everyones best interest!

Hold your heads up and keep the faith!

With fondest regards
Linda and gang
